Overview
Bergrivier Municipality’s Administration consists of the Office of the Municipal Manager and four Directories. 1. Corporate Services 2. Financial Services 3. Technical Services 4. Community Services
As head of the administration, the Municipal Manager’s Office is responsible for the formation and development of an economical, effective, efficient and accountable administration.
The office of Municipal Manager consists of the following:

Corporate Services Directorate manages the governance affairs of the municipality. Our objective is to ensure that the administrative affairs of this council and administration are of a high standard.
The Corporate Services Directorate Consists of the following departments
- Administrative Services
- Planning and Development
- Human Resource Services
The Finance Directorate manages the financial affairs of municipality. The goal is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the financial resources to ensure the financial sustainability of the municipality.
The Financial Services Directorate consists of the following departments.
- Income
- Expenditure and Supply Chain Management
- Financial statements and systems
The Technical Directorate ensures that delivery of excellent, sustainable and affordable services are achieved.
