Overview
Application for Learner License Testing can be done at the Piketberg, Velddrif and Porterville Traffic Offices while application for Driving Licenses can be done at the Piketberg and Velddrif Traffic Offices.
APPLICATION FOR A DRIVING LICENSE
All Codes:
- Positive Identification;
- Valid Learners License ;
- 2 Id Photos; and

The prescribed fee of:
| R 140 | Code A and B Licences |
| R 200 | Code C Licences |
APPLICATION FOR A LEARNER'S LICENSE
All Codes:
- Positive Identification;
- 2 Id Photos; and
-
The prescribed fee of:
| R 68 | For all codes |
| R 33 | Should you pass (additional) |
RENEWAL OF PRDP
- Medical Report (Collect prescribed form to be completed by the medical practitioner at the local Traffic Office);
- Complete Eye Test and fingerprint report at the Local Traffic Office;
- Produce Positive Identification with your application; and

The prescribed fee of:

RENEWAL OF DRIVING LICENSE
If card is still valid:
- Positive Identification;
- Complete Eye Test at the Traffic Office; and

The prescribed fee of:
| R 140.00 | Renewal |
If card has expired:
- Positive Identification;
- Complete Eye Test at the Traffic Office; and
-
The prescribed fee of:
| R 45 | Temporary Driving Licence |
NB An expired Driving License Card is not regarded as positive identification.
