Bergrivier Munisipaliteit nooi graag alle huishoudings wat as hulpbehoewende huishoudings wil registreer en vir gratis basiese dienste in aanmerking wil kom, om die onderstaande beamptes te kontak in die verskeie dorpe vanaf Maandae tot Vrydae:

•Piketberg word daagliks van 09:00 - 13:00 deur Mabel Fortuin bedien.
•Porterville word daagliks van 09:00 - 13:00 deur Estralita Schreuder bedien.
•Velddrif word daagliks van 09:00 - 13:00 deur Alecia Carstens bedien.

Die Munisipale kantore in Aurora, Eendekuil en Redelinghuys se kassiere voltooi alle aansoeke self en stuur dit dan na die hoofkantoor in Piketberg vir verdere prosessering.
Waar daar persone is wat by hul huise gehelp moet word (huisbesoek), word dit op hierdie manier gekommunikeer en hanteer.

Enige klagtes van kliënte wat nie gehelp word nie moet na Vincent Esau (Rekenmeester: Kredietbeheer) by 022 913 6072 verwys word.

Priscilla Afrika, Klerk: Waardasies by Bergrivier Munisipaliteit, hanteer tans alle kortings vir landbou van kliënte vir wie sy self skakel, sowel as alle vorms van belasting op kortings wat van buite dorpe afkom.

Hierdie proses het reeds begin met kennisgewings wat gestuur is aan die nodige aansoekers.

Alle kortings op eiendomsbelasting word vooraf nagegaan met akte-deursoekings en die verifiëring van alle inligting voordat dit op die stelsel verwerk word, wat teen middel Julie 2020 voltooi moet wees.

Municipal Notice:
Bergrivier Municipality would like to invite all households who wish to be registered as indigent households and to be eligible for free basic services, to contact the below officials in the various towns from Mondays to Fridays:

•In Piketberg, Mabel Fortuin is available from 09:00 – 13:00.
•In Porterville, Estralita Schreuder is available from 09:00 – 13:00.
•In Velddrif, Alecia Carstens is available from 09:00 – 13:00.

The cashiers in the towns of Aurora, Eendekuil and Redelinghuys complete all applications themselves. Thereafter, they forward the applications to Head Office in Piketberg for further processing.

In a case where a person/s need assistance at their homes, it will be communicated and handled in that way.

Any complaints from customers who have not been helped, must be referred to Vincent Esau, Accountant: Credit Control, at 022 913 6072.

Priscilla Afrika, Clerk: Valuations at Bergrivier Municipality, currently handles all agricultural rebates in which she herself liaises with clients, as well as all forms of property tax rebates which come from outside towns. This process has already started with notifications being sent to all the appropriate applicants.

All property tax rebates goes through a verification process with deed searches and all relevant information is verified before being processed on the system, which should be completed by mid-July 2020.
